Farmaven 30 tablets by Farmaenergy is a dietary supplement with dry vegetal extracts such as Ginkgo biloba, horse-chestnut, butcher's-broom, Vitis vinifera (the common grapevine), centella (also known as Asiatic pennywort or Gotu kola), common (or American) witch-hazel and cranberry, with a high content of active ingredients. The product is suggested for the ordinary function of microcirculation and for contrasting cellulite blemishes.

 

FARMAVEN, TROPHISM AND MICROCIRCULATION

As we usually do, we shall list the main ingredients of this formulation in order to better understand its specific effects.    

 

  • Horse-chestnut cortex dry extract, concentrated in escin, which is a substance useful to treat different diseases that affect capillaries and veins and that are characterized by venous insufficiency and its related symptoms such as swelling, heaviness and fatigue.

Moreover, escin can reduce the action of elastase and the action of hyaluronidase, which are two enzymes that attack the endothelium of vessels and the extracellular matrix whose structure is therefore weakened.

  • Cranberry dry extract, titrated in anthocyanosides, which can reduce the permeability of capillaries and can act as a potent anti-inflammatory and vasodilator. Anthocyanins are seemingly able to block the processes of some enzymes that destroy collagen and the elastic fibres of  both capillaries and blood vessels.

  • Butcher's-broom dry extract titrated in ruscogenin is very useful for protecting blood vessels and in case of  inflammation; it improves venous circulation. Moreover, it seemingly has a significant phlebotonic effect fostered by ruscogenins (at least 2%), which strength venous tone and, therefore, make vessel walls more elastic. This is a very important aspect for those who suffer from capillary fragility; moreover, elasticity is useful for the reduction of the exceeding permeability of capillaries, which is one of the main causes of lymphatic stagnation and cellulite.                                                                           

  • Red yeast dry extract with high polyphenol content is known for its properties against varicose veins, haemorrhoids and cellulite.

           

  • Leaves of Ginkgo biloba are a remedy that is often suggested in phytotherapy to treat disorders of artery circulation, venous circulation and capillary permeability.

              

In conclusion, it must be remembered that other important substances are in this supplement. They are the dry extract of centella, which is a perfect protector of vessels and drainage component; vitamin C, which is an antioxidant with an anti-inflammatory action and which, moreover, is involved in the synthesis of collagen; common or American witch-hazel, which is rich in tannins and flavonoids with astringent and anti-haemorrhagic properties.
